*𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴
– 1tbsp olive oil
– 1 1/2 lb ground beef
– 3 garlic cloves, minced
– 2 onions, finely chopped
– 2 medium carrots
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1 tbsp paprika
– pepper, to taste
– 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
– 2 tbsp flour
– 2 tbsp ketchup
– 1 cup red wine
– 1 cup beef broth
– 1/2 cup frozen peas
– 4 cups cheesy mashed potatoes (mix 1/2 cup mozzarella and 1/2 cup cheddar into your mashed potatoes)
▪️Heat oil over medium-high heat in a large, deep pan.
▪️Add the beef and cook until browned and all the meet juices have evaporated
▪️Add garlic, onions, and carrots and continue cooking until the veggies are starting to soften
▪️Sprinkle salt, pepper, paprika, and flour over the pan and cook for 2 minutes, stirring often.
▪️Stir in ketchup and cook for about another minute
▪️Pour red wine and beef broth, and bring to a boil. Cook until most liquid has evaporated and a thick gravy form (this will take about 10 minutes)
▪️Stir in peas and check for seasoning (adjust to taste)
▪️Spread mixture in a 7×11 baking dish.
▪️Preheat oven to 400 degrees
▪️Add mashed potatoes over the meat and spread evenly. (I also sprinkled some paprika over it for a little flavor boost)
▪️Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, then broil for about 5 or until golden brown
▪️Serve and enjoy!!
