Addicted!⠀

I have been addicted to these sandwiches lately. So much flavor and they are so filling! When your meal is 75% veggies and 25% protein, you might think you’ll still be hungry but this will leave you so full and satisfied. Can’t wait to hear what you think! ⠀

Cheesy Cabbage Steak Turkey Sandwiches ⠀

1 medium red cabbage⠀
1/4 tsp paprika⠀
1/4 tsp garlic powder⠀
1/4 tsp onion powder⠀
1/4 tsp cumin⠀
6 oz turkey deli slices (nitrate-and nitrite-free) ⠀
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese⠀

-Preheat oven to 375⠀
-Line baking sheet with parchment paper and coat with non stick cooking spray⠀
-Slice two, 1 inch thick rounds from center of whole head of cabbage ⠀
-Place cabbage steaks on parchment paper and sprinkle evenly with spices⠀
-Bake 15-20 min⠀
-Top one steak with turkey and cheese. Top with remaining cabbage steak⠀
-Wrap sandwich in foil and place on baking sheet. Place weight on top of sandwich (I use a cast iron pan as a weight) ⠀
-Bake 4-6 min⠀
