Today we foraged for Bärlauch–in family isolation, of course. Bärlauch is a wild garlic that is very popular this time of year in Germany. It was my first time to pick it, and as I was unsure what exactly to do with it, I simply chopped it up and made some spreads with it. Picture 2 is the cream cheese Bärlauch spread, with cream cheese, Bärlauch, salt, and pepper.. Picture 3 is Bärlauch butter, same as the previous, except butter instead of cream cheese. Both were good, but we unanimously preferred the cream cheese. 😊

Now I’ve found tons of other Bärlauch recipes, so you can guess what we’ll be doing again in the next few days 😉
