Last Sunday we baked our Banana Bread 🍞🍌 After sharing on my story many of you asked for the recipe ☺️ With a full house and many meals and snacks to have currently at hand, this easy, delicious snack/breakfast is packed with goodness and you get to use up your ripe bananas 👌

Ingredients:
▫️1/2 cup shortening (I use coconut oil)
▫️1 cup sugar (I use brown or coconut sugar)
▫️2 eggs
▫️5 ripe bananas (works with 4 large bananas too, just make sure they are super ripe)
▫️2 cups flour (I use oat flour)
▫️ 1 teaspoon salt
▫️ 2 teaspoons baking soda ▫️ 2 tablespoons wheat germ (ground Flaxseed)

1️⃣ Preheat oven 175 degrees C. Grease a loaf pan. Cream together oil and sugar, add eggs and mashed bananas. Blend well.

2️⃣ Sift flour, salt, baking soda & wheat germ in separate bowl. Add dry ingredients to banana mixture.

3️⃣ Bake for 50mins. Check with toothpick if cooked through. Voila 😉

Enjoy 🥰 our best ever banana bread! It’s our family’s favorite!
If you have children this is a fun (mash bananas) recipe to do together. You can also add walnuts or chocolate chips for added surprise ☺️ From our home to yours ❤️ #bananabread #banana #homemadefood #baking #easybaking #inspiration #covidbaking #covid #quarantine #recipes #soulfood #familyfun #familytime #stayhome #stayhealthy #familybaking #expatfamily #expatliving #hamburg #happinessinspired #happinessishomemade #happinees
